PB2 VS Peanut Butter: Which is Better for Fat Loss?

Here are the facts:

Peanut Butter
  • 190 cal per serving ( 2 tbsp)
  • 16 g of fat
  • 3g of sugar
  • Ready made
  • Is cheaper than PB2
  • Contains healthy oils, minerals, vitamins from peanuts
  • High in fat
  • High in protein
PB2
  • 85% less calories & fat (2 tbsp)
  • When mixed with water is creamy
  • Tastes just like peanut butter
  • Low in fat & calories
  • High in protein
  • Reduced nutrients

I personally prefer the powdered peanut butter for fat loss based on its lower calories & fat. I also prefer the texture, it’s less sticky. However, the regular peanut better is a more ‘wholesome’ option. I have found other powdered peanut butters that are more ‘whole’ than the pb2 brand. Other sources argue that pb2 is not organic and some regular peanut butters are. But I have also found powdered peanut butter bands like, the brand ‘just great stuff‘ that is all organic peanuts and organic coconut sugar.

If you prefer to have more that one serving of peanut butter with your snacks (which I do) then I recommend powdered peanut butters!
